The Furniture Doctor is great! He arrived on time, after calling ahead to make sure we were home. He was working with a power recliner love seat that was having wiring issues. The activation buttons were not working. He was able to  restore one seat’s button, but had to think and install a great work around for the other chair. From the beginning he was committed to fixing my recliner and restoring it to working order. I really liked his work ethic and approach to this job. Thanks Val

Val did an outstanding job restoring the beak to my bird table that broke off in a recent move.  He hiked in to my house, the City is tearing up my street, with his tool chest and even went back up to his vehicle, blocks away, to retrieve another tool once he assessed the project.  Val was speedy and worked expertly to create the piece and secure it well and then stain it to match the existing part.  An excellent craftsman, I highly recommend Val’s services to anyone with specialized furniture needs.

Val is fantastic. He answered the phone right away. We made an agreement when he was planning to stop by to take a look at my broken sectional recliner. He called before coming over which I really appreciated and was on time when he arrived. Most places want you to drop off the furniture to be repaired which is really hard for me to do. So when he told me he would come over, that was half the battle. Val is super nice, examined my sectional, let me know what was needed and gave me an estimate. He took the piece that he needed to repair to his shop and came back with it in a couple of days. Val replaced the broken wood pieces with sturdier ones and he also fine tuned the reclining mechanism for me. The work looks and feels fantastic.
